FROSTBYTE
A downloadable game for Windows
You are project FROSTBYTE. Your mission is to catalog this abandoned and frozen-over spacecraft. Reach each room of the ship, melting the ice blocking your path, without running out of fuel.
This game was made for the Geekfest 2024 jam: Barrier to entry.
Author's note: Friends this game is NOT finished there is no plot 😔💔 I figured I would just submit what I have and keep working on it. Right now at least u can play with the little fella and melt some ice. I'm gonna be busy for the month of July so I will see you guys in the fall!
UPDATE 9-21: i decided to remake this game in 2d!! there is no timeline see u on the flipside
UPDATE 10-15: it's going well :)
Controls:
WASD to move around
Spacebar to jump/flap
Click and hold to breathe fire
E to refuel when you're at the walkie talkie
Upcoming update:
An actual storyline 😭 with save points
Music & sfx
Squished bugs
Nicer ui (fuel bar, minimap, blur, main menu, cutscenes?)

What a cute little dude going around melting space iceblocks! FYI I did have one instance of being stuck in a wall without being able to move out, so maybe have a little look at your colliders and see if there's anything there that might result in that.
